Stud
started as a trio:
Jim Cregan,
Richard
McCracken and
John Wilson, the latter two having split with Rory Gallagher
(Taste). After the release of their debut album Stud, they were
joined in June 1971 by John Weider (who came from the band Family).
After very succesful German tours, they sign for BASF label. They
released two more albums, September and Goodbye, both only
distributed in Germany. Jim Cregan left in August 1972 to join
Family.
