Eileen King's
Country Gifts |
In the late 1970s, country bands were popping up like
fresh mushrooms on a June morning. This was just one of many similar
bands at a time when Ireland Inc. decided that it only wanted bands
playing country music. Eileen King had replaced Philomena Begley in
Country Flavour and this latest outfit from the Tony Loughman stable
picked members from The Breakaways, The Signs, Country Flavour and The
Tall Men.
