The
Paragon 7
Showband

In 1963, three members of Dundalk’s Woodpeckers Showband, Jimmy Mackin, Gerry Foran, and Ray McDonald decided to form The Paragon 7. They were joined by the McEvoy brothers guitarist Shay and bassist Gerry along with trombonist Seán McArdle from Armagh and trumpeter Tony Condon who joined from Waterford’s Blue Aces.
