Re Des Furlong Showband pic, the second guitarist / male vocalist (bottom right of photo) is Barry Roe, from Donnycarny, Dublin.
He went on to lead his own small band in the rather sophisticated restaurant at Dublin Airport in the 1960's (patronised by the Charlie Haughey entourage etc.)
Later again he had quite a successful Dublin caberet career with his pleasing pop voice for many years.

I am a sister of Frank Nolan who played the keyboard with the Cadets in the early 1960s. I noticed in one of your photos in the early 1960s you have Gerry Hayes's name as the keyboard player when my brother Frank is in the photo and was the keyboard player at that time. I was pleased to see him in the photo as Frank has passed away since. Eileen was at his funeral. Please I would like you to alter the name to Frank Nolan Myself and my friends followed the Cadets wherever they played and have great memories.

Thank you
Colette Nolan Cronin
